Franc Mouwen

Franc is the EIC program manager for architecture engineering construction. His expertise is in technology scouting and venture building for the construction sector of the future. After his MSc in mechanical engineering at TU Delft in the Netherlands, Franc was a project manager responsible for some of the largest and pioneering tunnel boring systems for several major clients in Europe and Asia. Franc earned a full-time MBA degree at IMD in Switzerland, and has since  joined and founded several deep-technology startups.

European Innovation Council EIC is the EU's €10bn flagship innovation funding instrument. As a program manager for architecture engineering and construction, Franc Mouwen supports the EIC in shaping its portfolio in the construction domain, The industrial vehicles sector plays an important role in the ambition of the EU to be a leader in decarbonization (European Green Deal), digitalization, automation and AI.
