Newly developed, intuitive parameterization software for hydraulic valves
PROVEN CONCEPT WITH FUTURE-ORIENTED TECHNOLOGYToday's electronic units such as SD7, DSV, MD2 and PD2 can be configured and adjusted using the PASO parameterisation software. This was developed and programmed in-house around 20 years ago using the LabWindows CVI development environment, which was the Standard at the time. However, this development environment is now considered outdated and no longer meets today's requirements for flexibility and expandability.
With the redevelopment of the PDS1 electronics, Wandfluh has seized the opportunity to introduce a modern software Standard for all future electronic units. This includes both the operating system for the electronics and the completely redesigned Paso2 parameterisation software. Adrian Feuz and his team have invested most of their resources in this project over the past two years. The aim was to eliminate the weaknesses of the old software without sacrificing its proven strengths, such as intuitive usability. The result is a new generation of hardware and software that will serve as the benchmark for all future electronic products from Wandfluh. The new software not only allows for easy adaptation to new requirements, but also significantly simplifies scalability to different hardware – a decisive advance over the previous solution.
THE KEY FEATURES OF THE NEW PASO2:
