This includes the electrical and mechanical layout, cell selection, connection architecture, proprietary Battery Management System configuration and, when required, thermal management solutions.
A central element of this strategy is the flexibility of our proprietary BMS. The control software can be tailored to specific duty cycles, operating logic and charging strategies. Needs Analysis and Configuration
The customization journey begins with an in-depth technical assessment. Power profiles, operating temperature ranges, charge and discharge cycles, mechanical constraints and performance targets are carefully evaluated. These inputs drive both electrical and mechanical design phases, supported by simulations and preliminary studies that define the most suitable battery architecture.
Module configuration and component selection are developed in close collaboration with the OEM, ensuring full consistency between application requirements and technical specifications. Every detail, from cell technology to internal connections and sensor integration, is validated to guarantee reliability, safety and performance.
Design and Prototyping
Once the technical specifications are defined, detailed CAD models are developed and a battery prototype is built. During this phase, electrical and thermal simulations are carried out to verify that the solution meets performance, safety and durability targets.
The prototype then undergoes laboratory validation and real-field testing. These activities include electrical stress tests, thermal evaluations, compatibility checks and repeated charge and discharge cycles. Integration tests on the vehicle or machine ensure full functional compatibility with the overall system.
Industrialization and Production
After successful validation, the project enters the industrialization phase. Production is structured according to strict quality standards, with full component traceability and continuous process control. Thanks to flexible production lines and strong in-house expertise, Flash Battery can manage multiple variants without compromising quality, efficiency or lead times.
