Safe Environment Detection - 3D Terrain Mapping
In #agriculture,
automated mobile machines are increasingly being used to enhance
productivity. For these agricultural machines a reliable recognition of
the environment on uneven and unstructured terrain has to be ensured and
is crutial.
ITK Engineering's 3D Terrain Mapping (#3DTM)
enables the reliable detection of terrain, contours (e.g. rows or crop
edges) as well as objects in the warning and hazard zone, thus providing
the basis for automated operation. This enhances both the efficiency
and #safety of work processes and enables the execution of additional machine functions.
