Scania Industrial Batteries is accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future by developing high-performance battery systems designed for the world’s most demanding off-highway applications. Its solutions support industries such as mining, construction, agriculture, and energy in improving both efficiency and performance.
The systems operate within 400–800 V powertrains and offer scalable energy capacities from 21 to 624 kWh, enabling flexibility across a wide range of use cases. They are engineered to perform reliably under conditions involving extreme temperature, dust, shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference.
All systems are designed in-house and incorporate advanced cell-level propagation limitation, a multi-layered safety architecture, and battery management compliant with ISO 13849.
