Mats Bredborg is Electrification Leader at Volvo Construction Equipment, working on the transition toward zero-emission construction and the practical deployment of electric machines on real job sites. With a focus on compact electric construction equipment and energy logistics, Mats works closely with contractors, cities and technology partners to scale electrified construction operations. His work includes developing mobile charging solutions, energy management concepts and operational models that enable electric excavators and other off-highway machines to work productively in urban environments. He has been involved in several pioneering initiatives across Europe demonstrating how electrification, smart charging and new service models can accelerate the shift to zero-emission construction sites.
