Dr Michael Lampérth is founder and CEO of PHI-Power and a pioneer in axial flux electric machine technology. He earned his MSc (1996) and PhD (1999) at Imperial College London, where he served as a lecturer until 2010, researching mechatronic systems and axial flux machines. As founder of Evo Electric and later CTO of GKN eDrive Systems, he led the industrialization of axial flux drives. Since 2016, he has driven innovation and manufacturing at PHI-Power.
