Michael Schmitt is the founder and managing director of Kinell, a Kaufbeuren-based technology company supporting off-highway and special vehicle OEMs in electric and alternative powertrain architectures. With Kinell and previously STW, he gained over 15 years of experience in the system design of mobile machinery, including high-voltage functional safe automation systems. Schmitt studied electrical engineering and has held several technical and leadership roles. His work focuses on reliable, scalable HV and 48V/96V electrification.
