The new, fully motorized seat includes memory functions and allows adjustments for the backrest, seat length and seat cushion tilt. It also offers side support, lumbar support, heating and ventilation. The technology is designed for OEM machine builders and the aftermarket, meeting the demand for comfort, ergonomics and durability. The seating solutions are increasingly integrated with machines, reflecting the trend toward digitalization and touchscreen interfaces.

Representing Danfoss Power Solutions, head of autonomy Adam Khaw and senior manager for CCS sales EMEA Peter Peters talk through the company’s systems on display at iVT Expo, featuring control systems like IK3 and IK1, known for their seamless integration and user friendliness. Danfoss also showcased its autonomy solutions, which offer hardware, software and engineering services for OEMs, with a focus on path planning and obstacle detection. Danfoss works with partners to incorporate sensors such as lidar and radar. These innovations are gaining traction in sectors like airport ground support, animal husbandry, construction and mining.

Ladun Bakar, head of team sales, commercial vehicles and agriculture at Rafi, demonstrates the functionalities of the company’s safety display on show at the expo. Combining capacitive and force technology, it enables greater safety in industrial vehicles. He also introduces some of Rafi’s customized joystick solutions designed for various manufacturers.

Sebastian Schlesies, key account manager at Moba Mobile Automation, presents the beacon system that the company exhibited at iVT Expo. This system provides more information than standard signal lights, including danger and overload alerts. It is flexible in assembly and can be attached magnetically or fixed on a cabinet or pole. Integrated into existing CANbuses, it gives OEMs flexibility in information display and is a plug-and-play solution.

Richard Dunne, a business development executive at powertrain specialist Drive System Design, showcases the company’s electrification and transmission solutions on display at iVT Expo. The company develops various components including gears, driveshafts and transmission systems, and has recently ventured into electric motors and power electronics. It offers bespoke solutions for the electrification sector, with a focus on modularity for off-highway. Drive System Design’s powertrain knowledge is useful for motor design across applications, and facilitates the creation of efficient, cost-effective, next-generation technology.

Aradex unveiled new high-voltage solutions at iVT Expo, including an application-agnostic converter motor controller and double inverter for heavy-duty machines. In this interview, senior account manager Juli Hemming explains that the company is focused on efficiency, robustness and power handling for heavy-duty applications, and gives more information about Aradex’s DC-DC converters for fuel cells and its boost converter for DC link. In an interview recorded at iVT Expo, Intercel Energie’s account manager, Robin Been, explains that the company is making strides in the electrification journey with its heavy-duty battery packs.
